Business Support Officer

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client based in Skipton is looking to recruit a Business Support Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties include:

• Processing orders and invoices.
• Receipting and balancing customer accounts each week.
• Issuing statements and building strong relationships with customers to prevent aged debt.
• Working closely with the sales and order processing team to support excellent customer service.
• Attending to local customer emergency call outs and deliveries.
• Maintaining stock accuracy through weekly and monthly stock checks.
• Overseeing ecommerce sales and stock levels.
• Handling stock and general warehouse duties including transferring stock between sites.
• Working with the purchase ledger to raise orders and book in supplier deliveries.
• Providing some marketing and ecommerce support for a 12-month maternity cover.
• Maintaining social media presence during 12-month maternity cover.
• Working as part of a team to ensure our customer service is second to none.
• Further development opportunities in customer and supplier accounts will become available following the completion of training and maternity cover during the first 12 months.

Required experience

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook – essential.
• Good working knowledge of Sage Cloud 50 – desired.
• Customer service experience – desired.
• Accounts administration experience – desired.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills – essential.
• Full driving license – essential.
