Business Development Support Analyst / Pricing / Data Analysis

Our pharmaceuticals client now has a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional to provide analysis support for business development, supplier account management and project / program management.

They are the largest organisation of independent pharmacists within the UK, with over a third of all independent pharmacists as existing members. They believe that independent pharmacy has a strong future and their purpose is to help their members to develop that future by supporting their business and service to their customers.

Within this role, you will produce and maintain a series of monthly reports to analyse Commercial deals, investigate current and future pricing of brand equalisation deals and develop a system of pricing comparisons. Working with the Commercial team, you will analyse business opportunities for growth and be accountable for competitor intelligence, reporting impact on income streams.

You will also be required to use Business Intelligence findings to identify supplier opportunities, developing and supporting these relationships.

The successful candidate will have experience in analysing data in order to develop a sales and pricing strategy in a pharmacy / healthcare / wholesale environment. Ideally, you will understand the mechanics on how community pharmacies operate, and will have knowledge of Pharmacy IT systems. It is essential that you have some sales and project management experience along with excellent planning and organisational skills. You will be competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access, and you will be required to attend member events, therefore there may be the occasional overnight stay.
