Business Development Manager

We are working on behalf of an established M&E contractor with over 100 years’ experience delivering M&E within the built environment. The region currently has a turnover in excess of £20M with view that this Turnover can be doubled by 2017 in a sustained and intelligent way.
You will be responsible for developing new and existing clients to increase the revenue, you will be involved with customer care, relationships and ultimately adding value to those relationships.
The role is ideally suited to someone who has previous experience with M&E in the built environment, you will be able to develop business strategies with higher management and be capable of client negotiation at all levels. You will be involved with all work winning, client presentations and you will work in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, MOD, education, commercial and industrial type projects. The company is not adverse to looking at other sectors for development and would welcome the opportunity for the right BDM candidate to be able to demonstrate revenue streams that might currently not be a consideration by the business.
You will be able to give pre & post tender presentations, carry out major client negotiations at all levels, develop and implement an effective customer care policy, and maintain records of the policy to establish its effectiveness in establishing new clients and well as encapsulating existing clients and ensuring their relationships are maintained to the best possible levels.
