Business Development Manager – Clean Air Solutions

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

A UK provider of innovative air filtration solutions for removing ultrafine airborne particles and pathogens is looking to appoint a proven specification sales professional with experience of winning M&E building services projects.

The Position:

The appointed Business Development Manager will:

* Win specifications for bespoke and standard air disinfecting units, both portable and fixed, for a wide range of building types

* Increase market share and brand recognition through proactive identification and closing of new business opportunities

* Manage and strengthen profitable relationships with existing customers to ensure KPI, revenue and margin targets are met

* Provide customer feedback to engineering, software and production teams

* Participate in client meetings, site visits and surveys

* Represent the business at trade events and industry exhibitions

The Candidate:

Applicants selected for interview will have demonstrated:

* A minimum of five years’ sales or business development experience within the mechanical and electrical building services sector

* Proven experience of winning specifications with M&E contractors, design engineers and consultants

* A consultative approach and solution-oriented sales cycle

* An excellent understanding of engineering and design principles

* First class communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, consultants and professional teams

* Proven ability to meet and exceed new business targets and objectives

* A strong personal network of contacts within the mechanical and electrical building services sector
