Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year
A leading elderly care group requires an experienced Business Development Manager that is able to come in and hit the ground running, working predominantly in their homes in the South and South East, although some national travel may be required.
Working alongside the homes highly experienced clinical management teams and regional managers; you will oversee the operational and financial management aspects of business management and development.
Applicants should have extensive experience within the care sector at a senior level, ideally having experience in an Operational Management position. Prior experience in business development in the care home sector is essential.
As Business Development Manager you will take responsibility for monitoring service contracts and staff resource management.
You will undertake complex analysis of service delivery, focusing and anticipating operational issues, understanding root causes and finding effective and innovative ways to improve performance.
You will take the lead on delivering specific change projects and will support Service and Regional Managers in implementing improvement projects and identifying business opportunities and areas where improvements can be made.
You will be confident in understanding and interpreting highly complex and sensitive information, presenting this to internal and external stakeholders and senior professionals and acting as a senior contributor to business planning, reviews and management, ensuring operational plans are in place with clear targets and objectives.
You will manage identified budgets and will ensure that both income and expenditure targets are met and will work to maximise efficiencies and opportunities which do not compromise on standards.
This full time post has a working week of 40 hours and the salary offered is in the region of £66,000 – £78,000per annum.
