Business Development Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 per year

This Business Development Manager role is for one of the UKs fastest growing, well established Asset Finance companies, based in East Anglia.

Reporting to the Sales Director you, as a Business Development Manager, will contribute to the company’s growth and success by generating and developing strong partnerships with a wide range of businesses. You will work closely with your sales team to build leads and secure pre-qualified appointments for yourself. You will promote a positive and proactive approach to asset finance. 

As a Business Development Manager, you are required to:

take a proactive role in identifying and approaching customers to promote the company’s financing products and services
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to promote business and identify further opportunities
Discuss proposals with customers and potential customers
Assess the quality of the proposal through appropriate checks
Negotiate terms of the proposal, prepare documentation in line with agreed procedures and submit for approval
We would be really keen to discuss with a candidate who has at least 2 years’ experience in an asset finance role. A B2B sales background is also desirable both face to face and via the telephone. A track record in developing self-generated business and long-term relationships is a must.

This position may also be suitable for a Regional Account Manager, Business Development Executive, Regional Account Executive, Relationship Manager or Area Manager.

The Business Development Manager is a home-based position covering an area across East Anglia. Boasting plenty of earning potential and career progression opportunities. Offering a competitive basic salary of £42,000 – £60,000and tailored package (car, uncapped bonus, pension, etc.) for the experienced Business Development Manager.
