Business Development Exec / Sales Manager

Our client is a market leader in their niche but growing industry. Due to expansion they are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join their friendly and passionate team.

The main aspects of the role will be:

> Business development within the public sector and schools.
> Maintaining current relationships and building new ones.
> Working closely with the marketing team to tailor marketing to specific campaigns.
> Able to create a sales plan and see it through from beginning to end, ensuring business leads are followed through and new business is brought in.
> Processing orders that come in via the telephone and emails.
> Maintaining the in house systems and following order procedures.
> Visiting prospective and existing clients within the UK and Europe.
> Working closely with the MD to meet targets and drive sales.

Our ideal candidate will:

> Have extensive experience in business development and relationship building.
> Be able to strategically plan sales through to completion.
> Be excited and passionate about sport and fitness.
> Be target driven.
> Have an understanding of the public sector and how to sell into it.
> Have excellent administration skills and be a competent user of all MS packages.
> Have an excellent command of the English language.

Due to the nature of this role it is essential for you to hold a valid UK licence and have your own vehicle.
