Our client is a provider of specialist services to the commercial vehicle sector. A market leader in its field this is a new appointment to the Senior Management Team and comes at a time when there is considerable opportunity to grow this already profitable business.
The Role:
Contribute to the Formulation and implementation of a sales strategy that secures the achievement of revenue and profit objectives
Identify new business opportunities whilst continuing to develop relationships with existing customers & channel partners
Contribute to the development of the business as a whole as an influential member of the board.
The Candidate:
Graduate (business / engineering) calibre, board level experience. Can demonstrate a successful track record of sales growth within a medium-sized business within this industry sector.
Understanding of multi-sales channels is essential and some exposure to public sector clients would be an advantage
Skilled negotiator, who is commercially astute, highly motivated and has first class presentation skills and personal gravitas.
A natural leader who can manage relationships with tact and diplomacy yet is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
