Business Assurance Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

MASS is an ambitious technology company with a proud history in the defence and security sectors. We’re looking for a tech-savvy, highly organised individual with a strong background in Process management to join us as a Business Assurance Manager in the Corsham Computer Centre, Wiltshire.

We’re focused on driving operational excellence so we want someone to join us who will embed the mindset of Continuous Improvement.

You will manage a small team of dedicated quality professionals and independent system testers, as well as organise and manage a virtual team of auditors and Continuous Improvement practitioners. Aspects of this role are delivered as a service to our customer, and there is an interesting blend of both service delivery and business assurance in this role.

This is a protected role. You must be a sole UK national and achieve a Developed Vetting security clearance.

You will apply service design and lean techniques and take a structured but pragmatic approach to; problem definition, baselining performance; analysis of issues and their root causes, evaluating process improvement initiatives; and implementing solutions.

You’ll have the well-developed ability to understand the impact of service changes on the customer, listening and representing their ‘voice’ to ensure that revised processes and solutions add customer value.

Confidence and well-honed communication skills are essential as you will be working at all levels across all business functions alongside both technical and non-technical people to review and improve existing processes, introduce new ones and provide training when required.

Working closely with colleagues across MASS you will also be responsible for influencing and supporting the business in the shaping and delivery of its strategic outcomes.

Finally, you’ll also need experience and understanding of developing and maintaining an ISO9001 and TickITplus certified Management System.
