I am currently working with a college in the area who are looking to recruit a Brickwork & Civil Engineering Assessor to start with them as soon as possible. The role will be part time, permanent, at 14.8 working hours per week.

You will –

* Train and facilitate an excellent learning experience for our apprentices over a range of Construction and Brickwork programmes on our premises or as requested at an Employer’s premises.

* Lead on the recruitment, retention and achievement of EPA for our Construction/Brickwork apprentices and contribute towards their pastoral care.

* Participate in Employer Engagement to ensure the College maintains repeat business with our existing and new employer base.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Be prepared for every session and/or review and prepare and review training plans for the delivery of the construction standards

2. To provide good quality learning resources to meet individual needs, ensure they are available in class and on Smart Assessor

3. Forward Plan all activity with apprentices and carry out timely reviews in accordance with organisational standards and document on Smart Assessor

4. Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment

5. Work with employers so that they are aware of their requirements and contribution to the delivery of the apprenticeship standards

6. Maintain caseload of apprentices by encouraging repeat business with employers

Essential Requirements

* Vocational Level 3 qualification

* Assessors awards A1 or D32, D33 with A1 update training

* Verifier awards V1 or D34 with V1 update training

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong team player, displaying energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment
