We are working with an education provider in the West Midlands who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Assessor to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The job role would consist of you travelling to centres in Birmingham and the Black Country in order to assess Mechanical Engineering learners on their practical skills such as milling, turning, fitting, and mechanical maintenance.

The training provider are offering a starting salary of between £34,800 and £32,000 per annum for this position, which would also include a workplace pension, mileage expenses, and 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Engineering qualification
-Industrial experience of Machining
-Industrial experience of Mechanical Maintenance
-An assessor award OR some experience of assessing
