Bricklayer / Plasterer / Tiler

Salary: £216 – £228 per day

Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50m and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.

Purpose of the Role

* To deliver Plastering or Tiling for responsive or routine maintenance repairs

* To deliver plastering and tiling work on construction contracts

* To discuss issues directly on site with customers to determine exact requirements

* Carry out work to specifications, drawing and work sheets

* Undertake Joinery work in numerous locations on each day with minimal supervision

* To participate as part of the companies out of hours call out team

* To act as a mentor within the workplace for apprentices

* Accurately complete all relevant internal and external paperwork

* To drive company vehicles responsibly

Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum of City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 Bricklaying or Plastering or Tiling (Must be able to prove)

* Served a minimum of 2 years in the apprenticeship program

* Own Tools

* Full UK Driving Licence

* CSCS Card (Desirable)
