Branch Manager

Exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Builders Merchants as a Branch Manager based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

You will be responsible for the running of a highly successful branch and managing staff on a daily basis.

You must have:-

Excellent Management skills with ability to manage 20 staff – from counter, warehouse, delivery
Have outstanding Customer Service Skills
Take responsibility for the sales and profits of the branch
Knowledge of heavy, light timber and decorating materials
Ability to retain loyal long standing customers and new customers – both trade and retail
Resolve day to day problems
Ensure the branch is adequately covered at all times.

You will be an integral part of the company team and will be reporting into head office

Hours Full time 40 hours per week
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
