Branch Manager

Salary: £27.6 – £28.8 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Branch/Retail Manager to join our team at Graham, based in Brighton. You may not have heard of us, but this is an exciting time to join our company as we go through a period of transformation and change, and we are looking for the next big talent to join us!

So, what are we looking for?

You’ll be responsible for providing that fantastic customer service we pride ourselves on; building relationships with both existing and new customers, ensuring we understand their needs and anticipate how we can best provide the right solution for them. You’ll also enjoy building relationships with our suppliers, ensuring they are working with you, to support your overall objectives in the branch. You will be interested in keeping up to date with what is going on within the industry – finding new opportunities to grow and develop the business, thinking about how we can be better in the local market and bringing your team with you on that journey.

We value our colleagues, so as such, you will have previous experience with, and enjoy managing a team of varied people – from sales staff to warehouse, ensuring they are always safe at work, looked after, enjoy coming to work with us and achieving great results daily.

You’ll take pride in your working environment, and ensure that the standards our customers receive are the best they can be – whether that is ensuring we have the right products available on time and in full or the branch has the best appearance, to demonstrate to our customers that Graham is where they need to be.

You’ll enjoy liaising with lots of different people on a daily basis, whether that is within branch, Graham support functions, suppliers, customers, our distribution centre or any other key stakeholders needed to make you and your branch successful. It’s all about attitude and relationships!

We recruit on attitude, so you don’t need to have any experience within the plumbing and heating world. Perhaps you come from a retail or hospitality background and fancy a change of scenery? The industry you come from isn’t important – it’s about having the right approach, loving providing amazing customer service and ensuring the branch goes from success to success. All we do ask is that you have managed a team within a customer focussed environment with passion and satisfaction, but other than that, we are open to everything else.
