Our client is the UK’s largest independent re-manufacturer of Rail powertrain products. Continuously pursuing its ethics of quality, safety and reliability, the company is a highly respected front line supplier of re-manufactured Power Packs, Cooler Groups, Engines, Transmissions and Final Drives.

Position Summary
Vehicle / Auto Electrician
Vehicle electrician required to carry out the manufacture of wiring systems for new vehicle builds and vehicle
maintenance.
Skills required
Good understanding of auto electric circuits.
Able to manufacture wiring looms and termination panels
Able to install hard wiring
Able to fault find and carry out diagnostic investigation work
Understanding of can-bus systems (J1939)
Work to quality standards and schematic drawings.

Person Profile/Experience:
Understand and comply with engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be from Rail, HGV, PSV, REME, Military, Navy or Heavy plant.

Qualifications:
Apprentice trained or similar with a positive and flexible attitude.
