Shift Lead Electrician

£39,500 (including shift allowance)

Our client is a global facility management company with leading services in a variety of sectors in the UK, we understand how important Engineering roles are for business and buildings to operate. We are looking to recruit a Shift Lead Electrician for a large commercial site located in Northamptonshire.

As an Electrical Shift Lead, you will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Electrical Services, carrying out the role of Authorized Person HV/LV as required on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

– Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness

– Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements

– Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Critical Engineering Manager

– Undertake follow up actions required to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been authorised to undertake

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications

– Experience in a similar environment

– Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment.

– City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.

– 17th Edition or 18th Edition.

– Electrical Apprenticeship – gained within the building maintenance industry.
