Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year
A leading UK Integrator is currently looking for an experienced AV Field Service Engineer to provide preventative maintenance and reactive servicing of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems for their high profile clients. Many these clients are based in the city, but travel throughout the UK and Northern Europe may be required.
The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and organised approach to your work. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team as well as on your own.
You will have experience of Corporate AV systems, and will be competent in at least two of the following:
• AMX programming and/or systems install knowledge
• Crestron programming and/or systems install knowledge
• Audio Conference equip – MultiMic system controllers such as Clearone or Vortex
• Video Conference equip – Polycom or Tandberg or Sony, – ISDN and IP based systems
• Plasmas, LCD projectors – Installation of, with RGBHV, Component Video, Composite & YC Video signals
• Some experience of System Wide fault finding, in customers premises, under time pressures and whilst meeting client expectations
• A good understanding of Control systems, Serial Protocols
• Audio environments, Audio and Video Signal systems
• General TV/Satellite RG and Video + Audio Installation & Maintenance
An Infocomm CTS certification is a preference but not a necessity, however you are required to provide examples of other AV specific training.
