Assistant Management Accountant

Profitable and instantly recognisable construction company located in Tameside is looking to recruit an assertive and self-motivated Assistant Management Accountant.

With full study support to complete either CIMA/ACCA, you will work directly alongside the Qualified Financial Controller and take ownership of the businesses most lucrative division.

With business turnover totaling £84million and boasting sites all across the UK, this is an exceptional opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant who is dedicated to completing their studies at an expanding, successful business.

You will be responsible for:
*Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of accounts for a £28million division
*Completing all accruals and prepayments
*Support the Financial Controller with the budgeting and business forecasting
*Maintaining the fixed asset register
*Statutory financial returns: VAT , PAYE&NI

The client is looking for a candidate who:
*Is dedicated to completing their ACCA/CIMA studies and have the desire to complete their studies with a comprehensive study package
*A proven track record within a similar business producing management accounts
*Competent use of IT packages in particular Excel
