Assistant Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant. My client is a market leading Retail business with offices based in Bradford who due to a recent internal promotion & sales growth are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This role will provide the candidate with the insight of how a successful circa £150m turnover has grown year on year for the past 5 years.

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for producing the monthly management accounts for & Liaising with Non Finance Managers to discuss key variables and help identify potential improvements in operational processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

– All Balance-sheet Reconciliations
– Accruals and Prepayments
– Fixed Asset register
– Cash flow forecasts
– VAT returns
– Bank reconciliations
– Variance Analysis

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

-Have experience of assisting with the production of monthly accounts
– Feel comfortable in communicating with Senior Management
– Be a CIMA/ACCA studier
– Possess strong IT skills, particularly in excel

In return, my client is offering the following benefits package:

£23,000 – £27,000
