Management Accountant – Manufacturing

Salary: £39,600 – £42,000 per year

The Client

A UK company that is proud to manufacture all products at their Worcestershire based site using only locally sourced materials for their production process, when necessary to outsource they use trusted local partners.

Established in the 1960’s this company are forward thinking and have ambitious plans to expand both domestically and internationally over the next 2-3 years and are looking to strengthen their accounting team with the appointment of a Management Accountant.

The Role

As Management account the purpose of the role is to ensure that the accounting for manufacturing is controlled and reported accurately along with providing information to the senior management team and directors through reports and business intelligence.

You will also be responsible for, producing profitability analysis reports, managing cost changes and all commercial reporting.

The person taking on this position of Management Accountant will also be able to prepare accurate and detailed board reports, forecast and budget along with ad hoc reporting and analysis when required.

The Candidate

The successful applicant for the role of Management Accountant will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Access. Experience of Navision / Microsoft Business Central is essential and experience of working in a manufacturing environment is most desirable as you will need to provide accounting for this process.

You will be a clear communicator and be capable of prioritising your workload and the workload of your team, as Management Accountant you will maintain relationships with other departments and be familiar with business intelligence systems.

You will hold a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA or other and have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
