Salary: £37,200 – £40,800 per year
The Client
Our client is looking to secure a temp to permanent or interim Assistant Accountant to work at their offices in Bolton. They are a design and manufacturer of high spec security doors and a market leader in their field and have and excellent industry reputation in their field!
The Role and its Responsibilities
- Accurate reporting and uploading of contract hours, stock, materials and GRNI to projetcs
- Provide month-end cost reports
- Payroll
- Ensure accurate cash flow
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accurate entries of payments, expenses etc.
- Production and submittal of VAT and CIS returns
- P&L reporting for B-Tech and Aftersales departments
- Support RDEC and Audit annual activities
The Individual
The client is looking for a candidate who can provide accurate and on time information when required and who can demonstrate an excellent understanding of budgetary variances. You must be a good team worker and ensure you collaborate effectively with co-workers on projects but also be able to work independently, setting workloads and targets.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in an Assistant Accountant role
- Working knowledge of advanced accounting
- IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Sage Line 50 and Progress Plus would be beneficial
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification being studied towards
Salary and Package
£31-34K dependant on experience
