A very well established Shrewsbury business requires the support of an interim assistant accountant to join them on a temporary job basis to support with year-end. Owing to the immediate nature of the vacancy, they will ideally be seeking someone of part qualified or QBE calibre, with intermediate MS Excel skills and experience of Sage Line 50.

The Assistant Accountant Job Role will see you:

• Preparing the annual pensions return using MS Excel
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with year-end working paper schedules
• Assist is setting budgets for the new financial year

Joining a friendly team you will be a people person who is able to hand all tasks in a caring and considered way. You MUST have excellent communication skills, with good attention to detail and accurate keyboard skills. You will be a bright switched-on individual and will be available at short notice.
