My client is a leading fundraising agency in central Brighton. They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Account Manager.
This will initially be a support role in the first instance, assisting Account Directors in the administrative areas of their work. There is a possibility of the role becoming permanent.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who has previously worked in an account management/business environment. This is a focused role demanding great accuracy and attention to detail; you will have the ability to take instruction and complete work to deadlines.
The right candidate will be highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
As well as this, they must have the following:
- Experience producing statistical reports, pitch documents, proposals, award entries, marketing materials and other standard agency reporting.
- Experience reviewing your own work for accuracy and design prior to presentation
- Experience prioritising your work to meet internal briefs and working to target will be the norm.
- Strong communication skills, verbally and written; you will be communicating at Director level and reporting to Senior Client Service staff
You must be able to work in a proactive and flexible manner and further duties will be discussed when starting in the role, however part of your role will include;
- Assisting Account Directors in managing clients to ensure that capacity and revenue targets are achieved.
- Understanding fully the features & benefits of services
- Assisting in the implementation of the communications/sales process
- Taking part in proactive, objective-led meetings and other communications where required.
- Reviewing all historical activity, and researching fully each client to ensure that campaign reports are completed.
- Being aware of campaigns and client activity across all accounts.
- Assisting in the development of clients’ overall understanding of services and how they can fit into their strategy
- Creating campaign proposals, timetables and projections to clients as required
- Being involved in the creation of internal campaign briefs accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner.
- Providing documentation and reports to clients in accordance with their requirements and procedures.
- Completing campaign review reports and End of Campaign (EOC) reports as appropriate for all campaigns.
- Ensuring clients have the tools to gain a clear understanding of the work we are doing for them.
