Assessor / Tutor Health and Social Care

Established in 1997, we have a growing customer base and a strong reputation for quality delivery in work based learning and employability programmes in the North East and our services are driven by empowered and informed learners and a strong employer voice. We achieved a ‘good’ Ofsted inspection grade in 2015 and our mission is to provide outstanding specialist support to learners to achieve employment and progression.
We are currently looking for an Assessor/Tutor to join an established delivery team of specialists to support an established rolling programme of work based and classroom learning and assessment and are genuinely learner and outcome focused.

Candidates need to be experienced in work based and classroom based teaching and assessing and have expertise in the Health and Social Care sector While most of the provision is delivered in Tyne and Wear we cover the whole North East region and there will be a requirement to travel.
Candidates will have experience and competence in the Health and Social Care sector and meet the following essential criteria:
• Experience in teaching and assessing adult learners
• Minimum L3 subject specialist qualification in Health and Social Care
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ICT Skills
• Must be prepared to travel within the region and have a car available for work
• Must be able to work on own initiative and achieve agreed targets
• A minimum Level 4 Teaching qualification
• Assessor Award
• A proven record of delivering training, with an excellent understanding of the Health and Social Care Sector.
