JOB DESCRIPTION
Our award-winning family run client is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble and fit a range of products. You will manage basic electrical and plumbing aspects of the fit out and once done prepare and pack equipment for delivery. Duties will also include general workshop maintenance, stock management and loading vehicles. The assembly Technician will.
- Assemble wiring in the control panels (PLC).
- Assemble plumbing and other mechanical equipment.
- Test and quality check equipment prior to despatch.
- Pack all assembled equipment and load delivery vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS
The Assembly Technician will need an Electrical Engineering qualification (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent) and some panel wiring experience. Basic Word and Excel skills and a strong attention to detail is essential for the role. If the candidate has a FLT licence this would be helpful but is no means essential for the role. The position would suit a PLC Panel Fitter, Electrical Engineer, or Technical Assembler.
