Based in the Chester area We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Test & assembly contractor to join a rapidly expanding company in Deeside. They have grown substantially over the last 18 months and are a real rising star of the industry. The company specialise in the design and manufacture of automated machinery and have really taken advantage of the global automation boom.

The Role

The position involves working with the design team specifying and building test rigs to be used to ensure that the companies equipment meets the required high standards. You will working with the engineers to look at potential issues and then put in place a test and record results as necessary. This will involve setting up test rigs, data logging and analysis.

The Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate you will be a practical mechanical individual with a good understanding/appreciation of electrical and controls. You will not be fazed by new challenges and have a real passion for engineering. The position requires a real attention to detail and the ability to work to tight timescales. A qualification in Mechatronics would be desirable.
