Assembly, Production and Machine Operatives

Cubed Resourcing are proud to work in partnership with our prestigious clients across West Yorkshire and are currently recruiting for Assembly, Machine and General Operatives.

Several opportunities are available. Positions are ongoing and may lead to permanent roles.

Day to Day duties will include the following:

– Set up and operation of production machinery in line with company training.

– Ensure expected output is achieved through optimum machine settings and careful attention to all quality procedures.

– Ensure all administration connected with the process is done at the correct time and accurately, all ingredients and products to be prepared efficiently.

– Strip down, set up and cleaning of the various machines used to meet set standards.

– Work individually and as part of a team to complete production batches in order to meet targets and deadlines.

– Maintain all work stations and the production area to the required standards following all relevant clean down procedures.

– Ensure all finished product is packaged and ready for dispatch.

– Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines and quality standards are maintained to the required standard at all times.

– Assist in any other areas as necessary in order to meet customer order deadlines, e.g. Goods in/Dispatch.

– Inspecting parts, following a set procedure.

– Using basic hand tools to finish products.

– Preparing goods for dispatch.

– Returning faulty goods to production.

Successful applicants will ideally have the following qualities and experience:

– Good attention to detail.

– Flexible.

– Motivated.

The rate of pay for this position is £26,000per year depending on shift and is on an ongoing temp assignment which does have the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Due to assignment locations your own transport would be beneficial.

Overtime is available as and when organised by the management and is paid at T&1/2 and Double time depending on when the overtime is worked.

There are numerous shifts available from 06:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 00:00, 14:00 -22:00 and 23:00 – 07:00 depending on client`s requirement.
