Area Sales Manager (books) – India

This leading global publishing house are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to help manage the Books business in India and in the rest of the India Sub-Continent and in particular to help drive sales in the newer markets in the region.

To make territory visits for meetings with importers, academics, government ministries and aid agencies. Working alongside UK and overseas colleagues to develop growth strategies and identify new business prospects.

Candidates will have some prior experience of international sales and/or marketing. An interest in overseas cultures. The successful applicant will be well organised and self-motivated. Good understanding of academic and professional markets ideally. Strong communication skills essential. Excellent room for progression and competitive salary.
