Contract Sales Manager – Tiles

Job Description We are retained by a rapidly expanding UK manufacturer of Ceramic, Porcelain, Mosaics, stone and glass tiles who are seeking to recruit a professional CONTRACT SALES MANAGER to join their successful team covering the MIDLANDS.
Our Client’s aim is to deliver high quality, innovative and bespoke products and specialist services to support a diverse design and construction industry. They are therefore seeking a Candidate who is able to capitalize on their success to date.

Reporting to: Head of contract sales

The role

This is an exciting new opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join a successful manufacturer and distributor of floor and wall tiles within their Contract Sales Team.
The purpose of this role is to generate new business via Architects, specifiers, developers and other decision makers. You will relish the challenge of winning new business and look to build long term relationships within this sector.

Main Responsibilities

• Research, develop and maintain a rapport with new and existing contract sales customers within the geographic territory based on the major conurbations in Middle England and Wales.
• You will be ideally based in the Northampton / Warwick / Birmingham areas although candidates North or South of these areas should still apply.
• Generate and maintain new business
• Learn our Client’s complete product range through training and researching Company literature, such as brochures for product/technical information and prices.
• Project a positive image when representing the Company to customers.
• Meet ongoing customer service requirements, as needed.

Person Specification
• Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role
• Have a flair for presenting a product combined with the panache to drive forward new designs and ideas within the Contract Sales arena.
• Demonstrate experience dealing with Architects, Specifiers, House Builders etc
• IT Literate
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self motivated and results driven
