Architectural Technician

Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 per year

My Shrewsbury based client is currently recruiting for a Technician to be split between their offices in Shrewsbury and Birmingham.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience

Job responsibilities:-

Advise on environmental and regulatory legal requirements

Assess the needs of the client

Carry out Risk Assessments

Lead the design process

Liaise with and produce documentation for statutory and local approval authorities

Obtain and evaluate tenders and contracts

Prepare tender bids for submissions

Prepare and present design proposals

Skills and experience:-

At least 5 years’ experience working in a Technician role ideally working within an architectural practice

Experience of 2D, 3D Autodesk and 3D rendering packages

Experience of Microsoft packages, word, excel and outlook

Good knowledge of construction and building law

Able to prepare and deliver presentations

Able to prepare detailed design and working drawings
