Apprenticeship with An Artisan Bakery

Apprentice required to join a small team of artisan bakers in a South London bakery.
The following training will be provided: –
Learn to weigh and measure ingredients
Mix and develop various doughs
Cut and shape bread
Bake loaves in traditional wood-fired ovens.
For this apprenticeship you will need to be committed to the idea of making things with your hands, have a very good work ethic and a strong interest in natural food.

This is a great opportunity to learn while you earn in a government funded Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will complete an Intermediate Level 2 NVQ Apprenticeship in Performing Manufacturing Operations over the first year with the training being delivered in the work place. The apprenticeship will involve training and assessments in your vocation as well as Functional Skills in Maths and English and also covers employment rights and responsibilities.
