Start your career working as an Apprentice Developer for a rapidly expanding Surrey based technical consultancy.As part of an IT Apprenticeship, gain hands-on experience, industry recognised Microsoft & CompTIA qualifications all whilst earning £26,000 per year.
Who will I work for, and what will I do?
This Surrey based organisation provides business intelligence solutions. They complement Microsoft technologies with their own software programs to deliver industry leading analytics, coaching and Key Account Management solutions.
As an Apprentice Developer, you’ll be working in a varied role with responsibilities spanning multiple technical departments, this includes:
- Software Development: Gaining exposure and learning about the software development process
- Marketing: Sourcing information on the Internet and organising data to produce demonstration systems
- Project Development: Utilising SQL Server and in-house tools to manage and manipulate client data, reporting it back to them in an attractive and informative fashion;
What experience do I need?
You will have an interest in IT; be comfortable working with numbers; have an inquisitive mind and demonstrate attention to detail. You will have GCSE/A Level of at least A*- C (or equivalent) in English, Maths, Science and ICT.

What training will I receive?
Our unique 12 month Advanced IT Apprenticeship provides award-winning industry training and certifications, valuable work experience and offers on-going support all with the ultimate goal of securing you a long-term career within the world of technology. During your 12 month programme, Firebrand provide five weeks of intensive training at our state-of-the-art training centre as well as supporting, assessing and assisting you with your development whilst you are in the workplace.
Throughout the 12 months, you’ll receive training leading to several industry-recognised qualifications, including Microsoft and CompTIA.
What happens after my apprenticeship?
If you perform to a high standard and enjoy being part of what they do, you would be taking on as a Junior Developer at the end of your apprenticeship. Future opportunities to develop client facing skills, project management skills and further IT expertise will be provided to maximise the your potential.
