Site Administrator – 1 month temporary contract – Immediate start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experience administrator to join a busy team in a well known construction and engineering company. This is currently a 1 month temporary contract with the potential of an extension following this. The successful candidate will be immediately available.

Duties:

• Responsible for the booking of roadspace to enable road closures using an online system.
• Responsible for cancelling non-utilised closures before the shift if they are not planned to go ahead.
• Working with site teams and traffic management supplier to ensure resource is available
• Attendance at weekly co-ordination and team meetings.
• Adhoc administration duties to support the team

Accountabilities/ Experience:

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a construction or engineering background
• Full training will be given, however a quick learner is required
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to work with outside organisations where roadspace bookings clash with others.
• Patience to work through logical geographical problems to ensure all parties can work
• A collaborative attitude, not just benefiting the local team, but also looking out for third parties to ensure they can also work.
• Someone who is confident with a variety different members of staff from supervisors on site to our client
