We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our busy Rentals team based in Totton.

The main purpose of the role is to assist with the day to day running of a busy hire desk, to complete all associated administration and to provide an excellent customer service.

Your main duties will be-
•Liaise with external and internal customers in relation to off hires, scheduling, and bookings of transport and equipment hire
•Cross departmental checking to ensure that all relevant equipment is in place
•Close contracts once the equipment has been returned to the warehouse arranging for any cross hired equipment to be returned to the supplier
•Processing and checking all job sheets and keeping a log of all breakdowns
•Purchase order processing and goods receiving
•Processing credit notes obtaining the necessary authorization
•Processing, amending and sending contracts
•Any other duties required from time to time by the Admin Manager

To be successful within this role you will be an excellent team player who works well in a busy environment and can multitask. You will have superb customer service experience with knowledge of logistics, booking transport, invoicing and contracts. With a background in a logistics or hire desk environment.

Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5.00pm, 1 hour lunch break.
