Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year
Your new company
based in Derbyshire. Their services now include most of the building envelope including all types of roof and wall cladding, rainscreen cladding, sfs, rooflights, drainage systems and safety systems. Their also a partner with their own preferred suppliers to offer curtain walling, doors and steelwork as a complete package.
Your new role:
You will be required to provide full administrative support in maintaining a service to a primary client within the area. You will be the key point of contact for job allocation, and also be required to provide updates and follow-ups, customer and clients liaisons, manage sub-contractors and in-house teams, raise purchase orders, and conduct monthly reports.
Jobs may include but not limited to:
* Preparation of site safety and drawings files for sites (copying and compiling information) for use on site.
* Responsibility for hired plant, as directed by the project PM/CM, coordinate on hires/off hires, record plant hire log and distribute ‘on hire’ plant emails to staff weekly.
* Responsibility for monitoring health and safety training, updating the training matrix and chasing information from employees and subcontractors.
* Responsibility for ordering skips, monitoring and requesting off hires/exchanges.
* Responsibility for ordering PPE, monitoring supplies and distribution to site.
* Aftercare/defect tracker – acknowledge initial reports and provide progress updates to clients, liaising with the relevant Manager until resolved.
* Support for site teams including finding hotels, ordering stationary, PPE, etc.
* Responsibility for compiling project operation and maintenance manuals, inc. gathering specific project information, chasing subcontractors for information and requesting guarantees from relevant suppliers.
* General admin duties
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service, a positive outlook and proactive attitude. Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and collaborate effectively is essential. You must also be able to use Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and previous experience with SAP is desirable but not essential.
