This privately owned main contractor who is a regional contractor based in Gloucestershire, is now currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team. They currently work across a wide section of the construction industry on a variety of contracts, which include Education, Health, Commercial, New Build Housing Associations contracts and Care Homes.

Ideal Contracts Manager:

As a Contracts Manager you should have a minimum of 8years in the construction industry and must have 4/5 years’ experience of managing contracts, with previous experience of managing Education, Health, Commercial or New Build Housing Associations contracts, ideally some experience of dealing with local authority new build projects from inception through to completion as a Contracts Manager would also be advantageous.

As the Contracts Manager you will be overseeing multiple contracts from preconstruction, dealing with client meetings and being able to plan, program projects, with site managers reporting back to you on a daily weekly basis.

Contracts Manager Duties:

Managing either one large project or working on between 2-4 projects at any given time, dependent on size and complexity of the project
Planning and programming contracts
Quality Control
Sub-contractor orders
Managing Site issues effectively
Health and Safety plans
Motivating and inspiring the team
