Accounts Receivable Officer

Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

Robert Walters are delighted to be working with a client based in Enfield looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their friendly but busy team. This is a permanent role and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. The business have a busy environment with lots of internal opportunities for growth and building on a long-term career.

You will be expected to assist the rest of the team with credit control, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

Duties for the Accounts Receivable Officer:

Taking full-responsibility of a large and high value ledger.
Completing daily sales ledger reconciliation.
Weekly aged debt analysis and reporting.
Chasing invoices by phone to reduce the debtor balances and debtor days.
Handling any invoice queries from customers and internal management.
Assist Management Accounts with Month-End reporting processes.
Supporting Senior Management with query/invoice/payment updates.
Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Consistently aim to hit KPI’s set.

To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:

Have a proven background within a similar role and understand basic accounting principles.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Be able to work in a team.
Strong Excel skills desirable.
Have studied to some degree of AAT, CICM, or hold a relevant Accountancy degree.
