Accounts Payable Officer

We are recruiting for an experienced and competent Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy team based in Head Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative duties to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations

Key Accountabilities:

• Process and pay invoices by required deadlines in order to receive maximum discounts whilst still utilising available credit terms
• Investigate price variances between invoices, orders and service lease agreements
• Allocate payments made against relevant supplier accounts
• Match purchase orders to invoices received and seek authorisation of any price variances arising
• Reconcile supplier statements upon receipt
• To register and distribute invoices for authorisation where purchase orders do not exist
• Reconcile invoice service charges against relevant hospital documentation 
• To maintain and reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis
• Respect Patient/Consultant confidentiality at all times
• Compliance with obligations in respect of the Health and Safety at work legislation
• Provide cross cover for other members of the team
• Data entry of invoices and all associated administration tasks as required
