Accounts Receivable Cashier and Banking Clerk

We have an opening for an accounts receivable clerk to prepare the daily banking for a leading chain of trade merchants. The job involves recording, posting, allocating and reconciling daily takings, which could be in the form of cash coming in from the trade counters, credit card payments, and e-commerce receipts. You will be using an Excel Spreadsheet to allocate transactions, so intermediate level Excel Skills are required. Located North London, New Southgate, N11.

Key Features of the job:

Downloading a daily SagePay report, detailing payments and refunds.

• Reconcile the SagePay report against the online customer sales system (Magento)
• Posting SagePay transactions onto the accounting system, Kerridge
• Running the Kerridge ecommerce account transaction report and creating an allocations excel spreadsheets [using the search function]
• Allocate the transactions from the spreadsheet above on Kerridge.
• Update the ecommerce account outstanding transactions spreadsheet.
• Communicate with other team members and ecommerce department admin/management of issues uncovered from above duties e.g. funds have been received on Sagepay but there is no Magento order raised, or vice versa.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Experience in cash posting / cash allocation / daily banking / sales ledger or accounts receivable administration
• Intermediate Excel skills – use of Excel spreadsheets to allocate cash

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience of using Kerridge Commercial Systems / accounting system
