Our client, an award winning business are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join after a period of expansion.
The main purpose of the role is to control the branch accounts dealing with all the ledgers, duties will include:
• Providing accounting support
• Reconciling finance accounts
• Maintaining spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
• Controlling credit
• Working with sales and purchase ledgers (Sage Line 50)
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Part or full qualified AAT Qualification an advantage but not essential as time to study and train towards an accountancy or lettings qualification will be considered
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritising your own workload
- Good IT skills you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
