Accounts Payable Coordinator

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within the Basingstoke area?

Based in Basingstoke, the successful applicant will report to the Accounts Payable Manager for Europe to ensure that purchase invoices and payment requests are recorded accurately and paid in a timely manner. You will achieve this through the effective analysis of invoice data and associated trouble shooting, as well as VAT knowledge and substantial liaison with internal colleagues and external vendors. Therefore fluency in either Spanish or German is essential.

Responsibilities will include the use of the Readsoft invoice processing tool and SAP to analyse all invoice and credit documents, use of knowledge and expertise relating to SAP VAT codes, and the reconciliation of supplier statements and vendor account balances. You will process electronic payment requests and liaise regularly with colleagues across the organisation to ensure that invoices are approved in a timely fashion. You will assist the business with guidance on vendor and purchase order creation and liaise with vendors in relation to any queries they may have.

Education & Experience:

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Accounts Payable experience.
• Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel and Word.
• Fluent in English and either Spanish or German is essential.
• SAP experience is preferable.
