Accounts Assistant – Aat/Acca Studier

Our client, an international business based in Central London, is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant. They are looking for someone to start ASAP so are looking for someone available on short notice.

This role will cover all areas of transactional finance up to trial balance as well as assisting with management accountants, VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be studying AAT (evening study) or AAT Qualified and studying ACCA
• Have excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables and v look ups
• Have experience of accounts up to trial balance
• Have multi currency experience

If you have used Access Dimensions this will be a bonus but not essential.

The role will include:

• Process purchase invoices
• Raise sales invoices
• Credit control
• Bank reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Expenses
• Cash book
• Checking FX rates weekly
• Assist with management accounts
• VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end journals

You must have a good technical bookkeeping skills as there will be a test at interview stage.
