We are seeking an Accounts/Administration Assistant to join this friendly, lively and busy Global Oil Company based next to Victoria rail, bus and underground station. This is a permanent role, working 8.30 – 5.30, Monday – Friday, and offering excellent benefits including Season Ticket Loan, 10% pension, private healthcare and Company trips away and a free catered kitchen (breakfast and lunch provided free daily).
Applicants should be proactive, hard-working, a quick learner and outgoing and sociable with excellent communication skills. You should also possess previous office experience, with strong Excel and numerical skills, and good general IT / Computer proficiency. You do not need Accounts experience to apply for this role but must enjoy a numerical role.
You will be supporting the Accounts team in a multi-tasking invoicing role:
- Processing trade and brokerage invoices, orders and payment offsets
- Dealing with invoice and order related queries
- Printing and sending trading invoices to customers
- Coordinating trade documents sent to third parties
- Maintaining filing electronic archiving system including daily filing
- Producing and sending payment reminders to customers daily
- Producing daily reports and statistics using Excel
- General office administration including filing, co-ordinating couriers & post, ordering and unpacking office catering and ad-hoc tasks
