Accountant

This is an exceptional opportunity ideally for a qualified candidate looking for their next career challenge. You will be confident with managing a small team, planning & reviewing their work and meeting with clients to build business relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial head and understand the operational needs of a business and be able to offer professional advice to Directors. Candidates from both a practice and industry background will be considered for this opportunity and strong QBE candidates will also be considered for this role.

COMPANY INFORMATION:

– An established and reputable firm of chartered accountants offering audit, tax and accounting and business support services to a variety of SME businesses.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

– Review of monthly management accounts
– Year end accounts preparation
– Monthly cash-flows, including forecasting/budgeting work
– Quarterly VAT Returns
– Payroll procedures – advantage
– Bookkeeping activities such as bank reconciliations and ledger accounts
– Corporate and Personal Taxation computations and Returns
– Proficient with Sage and experience of IRIS and advantage
