Accountant

A successful construction / property development business is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant or Management Accountant to manage all transactional accounting procedures and take overall responsibility for the management of company accounts.

** This role requires knowledge of CIS. As such the candidate will ideally have experience within the construction industry. **

Reporting into the Finance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full accounts function for a business with a turnover of approximately £25m. As well as overseeing all transactional accounting the role involves the production of monthly management accounts/reports.

In order to be suitable for this role you must be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a proven track record of producing accurate general ledger and management accounts in a construction business, including excellent sub-contractors ledger knowledge. It is essential to have detailed experience of purchase ledger/supplier accounts, stock control, cash flow, wage & salary payments, contract sales including the fixed asset register as well as company reports.

This is an excellent Senior Accounts opportunity in an established and growing business. This Accounts Manager / Management Accountant role is paying up to £60,000 plus benefits.
