Accountant

Currently looking for a strong all round Accountant for a 3 MONTH role based in West London.

An interim post has arisen to assist the financial controller with many ad hoc projects including clearing the legacy issues from 2012 to present. In order to be considered for this role you must have experience in preparing monthly management packs, project accounting, timesheet reporting, payables, time and expenses. Our client is a leading Advertising agency with a finance team of 10 who are experts in the branding and marketing field.

Duties of role:

• Preparing monthly management packs for the senior management team
• Month end reporting
• Reconciling accounts at month end
• Reviewing missing timesheet report to identify what timesheets need to be chased up
• Assisting the project accounting team to close jobs
• Investigating and clearing duplicate purchase orders in order to close jobs
• Reviewing the accounts payable ageing report to clear bad debt issues
• Managing of vendor invoices processed by the Shared Service Centre
• Assisting the Time and Expenses team in reviewing and approving expenses claims
• Preparing and reviewing the month employee expense report

In order to be considered for this role you will have experience of the above and be available to start work immediately or be on 1 week’s notice. Ideally you will have come from an advertising background.

The role will be paying £42,000 – £48,000 pro rata.
