Accountant

Location: Hampton Court, Long Ditton, Thames Ditton, Surbiton, East Molsey, Kingston upon Thames.
Salary: £28,800 – £36,000pa

Evolve Recruitment are currently looking for an Accountant to be based in our client’s Hampton Court/Thames Ditton Office.

Working within an expanding independent accountancy firm, our client is looking for an enthusiastic accountant to come on board and be part of their growing team.
We are looking for an accountant that has experience managing multiple accounts, working across many business functions and able to provide accounting services ranging from corporate finance and tax planning to managing VAT, audit, and estate planning.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing sets of financial accounts for clients.
• Preparing Financial Statements.
• Responsible for managing book- keepers.
• Running accounting packages Iris and submitting Vat Returns, EC Sales list and dealing with HMRC.
• Preparing quarterly management accounts for submission to various banks and preparing the end of the year accounts.
• Dealing with the trade finance and invoice discounting, submitting reconciliations.
• Managing credit control.
• Budget planning and producing various reports, looking at the variances of sales trends.
• Cash flow forecasts and comparison to actual.
• Dealing with audits like the HSBC invoice finance.

• Excel, Iris, Sage
• ACCA/ FCCA
• Strong Communicator
• Client facing
• Excellent overall computer literacy
