Account Officer

We currently have positions within our Non-Performing Loans Team in Caerphilly, South Wales for Account Officers

Working with our customers on the telephone our Account Officers are courteous, friendly and professional with exceptional communication and customer service skills. This role suits those with a steady work history and a strong work ethic.

Your main duties & responsibilities include:

• Dealing with Inbound and Outbound telephone calls

• Negotiating with customers to make suitable repayment plans

• Processing payments from customers

• Providing the highest level of customer service

Your experience:

• Previous experience in a customer service environment desirable

• Previous experience of working in a Regulated environment desirable but not essential

Your skills:

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English & Maths.

• Customer Focused- Excellent customer service skills

• Flexible approach – adaptable and responsive

• Computer literate – competent keyboard and data input skills

• Confident in the use of telephony based communication

• Strong organisational skills and professional approach – the ability to work in a self-motivated and self-disciplined manner

Benefits:

In reward for this role we offer a competitive starting salary of £26,000per year dependent on experience plus a flexible benefits scheme (eligible on completion of 6 months service) which is worth £26,000 per year.

This role is full time and permanent working a 37.5 hour week on a shift basis. Shifts include two late nights per week working until 8.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
