Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 pa, car allowance and annual KPI bonus

This role is an essential part of the Sales team supporting the wholesale international business of the retail division. A major focus of the role is on high value branded merchandise so previous sales and retail experience with perfume, cosmetics or liquor is essential in this position.

Duties will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, including regular visits to their head offices and retail operations as well as international travel
• Supporting customers in relation to merchandising guidelines, shop layouts, and point of sale
• Ensure that stock levels and assortments are correct, that new products are ordered promptly and that discontinued items are sold through as quickly as possible
• Prepare and maintain a product range for each customer and present new products and ranges professionally
• Manage an agreed list of customers in order to achieve sales targets

The successful Account Manager will have:

• Full UK driving license as extensive travel will be required
• Previous experience in a similar role within the retail industry (perfume/ cosmetics or liquor) is essential
• Proven background in account management of interational clients
• Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP is desirable
• Good negotiation and communication skills with a flexible approach to hours worked
• The ability to organise and manage own workload
