Full job description

onefinestay

Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year

Ray of sunshine

onefinestay is looking for a cheerful, bright and brilliant ray of sunshine to join us as relationship executive. Our hosts (and their remarkable homes) are at the very heart of our business, and we have a whole team of people devoted to looking after them through weather fair and foul.

You’ve probably spent time in a client facing role, but you’d prefer something with a bit more room for face to face communication and a commercial edge. Your sunny disposition will help you forge strong relationships with our team and fascinating hosts, as you encourage them to get the most from onefinestay and onefinestay to get the most from them.

But don’t misapprehend, this role is no walk in the park. It’ll require you to be poised under pressure and, if storm clouds appear, to be the silver lining of the situation. So, what’s your forecast? We’re waiting.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship management: proactively communicating with hosts via email, phone and in person to build long lasting relationships and inspire trust and confidence in onefinestay
  • Process improvement: you’re inspired by the detail of how the London Commercial team works, but able to think big-picture and find new, increasingly innovative ways of doing things.
  • Problem solving: we love it when a plan comes together, but you can’t win them all. You’ll need to work with teams from across the business to find solutions when things go wrong
  • Championing: you’ll always know what your hosts are thinking and feeling about onefinestay. Their interests are at the forefront of your mind and you’ll be passionate about ensuring that their voice is heard across our business
  • Team coordination: supporting the busy Account Managers by assigning the volume of communication each day to appropriate team members

Desired skills and experience

  • in account management or customer service, preferably within an environment where you have had direct interaction with a sophisticated user or customer community
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent foresight, initiative and problem-solving experience
  • A good degree from a good university, or equivalent experience

Candidate profile

  • Dedicated: you always get the job done. You have a natural ability to multitask and prioritise work load as necessary
  • Empathetic listener: you will be the first line of defence for all host enquiries, concerns and (heaven forbid) complaints
  • Unflappable: the role is not for the faint hearted – there will be some difficult conversations at times where resilience and confidence will be required
  • Mature and personal: warm, naturally sociable and outgoing. Able to build a rapport with a diverse group of sophisticated members
  • Energetic and responsive: you thrive in an ‘always on’ environment and delight in responding to queries quickly
