Account Executive

My client is an independent firm of Insurance Brokers situated in North Devon who are currently enjoying a period of sustained growth as part of their continued expansion plan. This has led them to look for an experienced Account Executive with a background in commercial insurance, customer service and sales to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Working as part of a busy and lively team, responsibilities will include:

* Developing the business and winning new clients through cold calling and following up warm leads
* Servicing existing and returning customers on suitable policies
* Handling renewals and changes to active policies
* Cross selling company products and services to maximise revenue streams
* Providing a high level of customer service
* Arranging and attending appointments at client premises

The successful candidate will have recent experience of working within the insurance industry, and a strong background in customer care and business development (Business to Business sales). They will have strong IT skills, primarily including Microsoft Office and Outlook and will have polished communication skills. A driving licence and access to a car will also be required to attend meetings.

The role will be offered with a competitive salary and commission structure that will depend on the successful candidates` experience and qualifications.
