Salary: £26,000 per year

Founded in 1933, the practice comprises 30 partners and approximately 270 staff supplying a range of services spanning audit, corporate taxation, private client services, VAT, business recovery and forensic accounting, together with a range of sector groups offering specialist industry knowledge.

Charities Department:

The Charities Department is a sub-division of the Firm’s Audit Department, which acts as auditors for organisations of every type and size in various branches of commerce and industry. The Charities group deals primarily with conducting these audits for charitable and not-for-profit organisations.

As well as the statutory audit, we also conduct internal audits for a growing number of organisations.

The Candidate:

We require a graduate trainee (with at least a 2:2 degree (or above) with a minimum of 280 UCAS points) or a school leaver with excellent A Levels, to work within our Charities Department to assist our managers with their client portfolios. The successful candidate will join a small but busy team and will be given training on how to prepare accounts, tax returns and how to deal with other aspects of general accountancy services work. They will also receive training on the accounts production and Corporation Tax return computer programs.

You will be: –

In return you will be offered a training contract to complete your AAT qualification.
